CARAMEL CORN 
1 1/2 c. popcorn (pop)
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. white syrup
1 scant tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Pop popcorn. Put in a big roaster. Bring to a rolling boil sugar, butter, syrup and salt. Boil the above 5 minutes in a boiling roll. Then add vanilla and soda. Stir good until syrup reaches its highest point. Pour over popcorn; mix good. Put in 250 degree oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
