PERSIMMON COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in pulp
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift flour with spices. Blend all ingredients. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.
