CHICKEN CHOW MEIN 
1 hen or lg. fryer
1 c. chopped onions
2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped green pepper
4 tbsp. chicken fat or other fat
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. cold water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 can La Choy bean sprouts

Salt and pepper chicken and cook until tender but not too brown. Add 4 cups chicken broth and cook 30 minutes. Add flour mixed with cold water and soy sauce. Stir in a cook 5 minutes. Add drained can of bean sprouts. Serve hot over cooked rice with chow mein noodles. 1 can of mushrooms may be added to this recipe.
