BANANA CHIP BARS 
3/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ripe bananas (mashed, 1 c.)
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (1 c.)

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir in banana. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture, beat well. Stir in chocolate pieces.

Spread in greased and floured 13x9x2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool, cut into bars. Makes 36. Chocolate frosting makes them even better!
