2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

Beat eggs. Add sugar. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to egg mixture and beat well. Scald milk with butter and stir into other mixture. Stir in vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve with sweetened fruit and whipped topping or chocolate sauce.

CHOCOLATE SAUCE FOR LAZY LADY CAKE:

1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. butter
2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa and flour. Add to boiling water. Add butter and vanilla. Pour hot on cake.
