6 egg whites 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar 2 c. sugar 2 c. fine soda cracker crumbs 3/4 c. chopped nuts 2 tsp. vanilla 1 lg. pkg. Dream Whip 2 cans Thank You cherry pie filling Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and continue beating until stiff. Add sugar gradually, still beating until very stiff. Fold in soda cracker crumbs, chopped nuts, and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in greased 8 x 12 inch pan. Allow to cool completely in pan. Cover with Dream Whip, then spoon evenly over top 2 cans of cherry pie filling. Refrigerate 10 hours before servings. |
