1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. paprika
1/4 c. onion juice
1 to 1 1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vinegar
1 scant tbsp. celery seed

Dissolve dry ingredients in vinegar and boil one minute then remove from fire. Cool. Beat until thick. Gradually add onion juice and fold in celery seed lightly.

For salad or dessert: Place diced fruits (grapes-melon-oranges) in any combination on lettuce then put sherbet on top (any flavor) and then add celery seed dressing over top.
