CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS | |
1 chicken 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt small amount of yellow food coloring 2 eggs 1 c. milk 1 can chicken broth, if needed Cook chicken. Debone and remove skin. Put together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat the eggs and mix with the milk and food coloring. Mix with the flour, turn out onto floured board and knead until stiff enough to roll. Roll out on floured board. Cut in squares and cook in chicken and broth. Add 1 can chicken broth if needed. |
