APPLE DUMPLINGS 
2 Granny Smith apples
1 pkg. crescent dinner rolls, separated
2/3 c. butter
1 c. apple juice
2/3 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Spray baking dish with Pam. Core and quarter peeled apples. Wrap each quarter with rectangle of crescent roll. Place in baking dish. Mix sugar, juice, butter and cinnamon in pot and heat until butter is melted. Pour over apples and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. When done, spoon hot mixture over apples.

Makes 8 dumplings.

Double recipe for 16 dumplings.
