2 1/2 cups sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1 cup milk 1 cup chopped dates 1 cup chopped nuts Boil sugar, butter and milk to soft ball stage (234-240°F on candy thermometer). Add dates and nuts. Form into rolls. Slice when cold. Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended. | |
