GRANDMA'S RED VELVET CAKE 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 eggs
2 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
2 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, room temperature
1 box powdered sugar
1 cube butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Cake: Mix dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Mix liquid ingredients and blend together. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees in 2 prepared cake pans (very rich). Frosting: Blend together by hand.
