BUBBE'S CARROT TZIMMES (WITH
HELZEL)
 
3 pkg. carrots
1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar

Optional Helzel: 1 onion, grated Oil for frying Chicken neck skin

Peel and shred carrots. Add flour, sugar and a little water; simmer for 2-3 hours.

Optional Helzel: Soak crackers in water and drain. Fry onion in oil. Combine crackers and fried onion and stuff neck with mixture. Cook in Tzimmes.
