CABBAGE SALAD 
1 head cabbage
1/4 head red cabbage
6 green onions
2 oz. almonds, chopped
2/3 c. sesame seeds
1 pkg. Ramen noodles
2/3 c. red wine vinegar
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
1 1/4 c. oil
Rings red & green pepper for garnish
1 tbsp. butter

Chop cabbage finely; cut green onions, including tops. Combine cabbage and onions. Melt butter, saute chopped almonds and sesame seeds in butter. Crush Ramen noodles lightly and add to butter mixture.

Make a dressing by combining vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and oil in a blender. About 1/2 hour before serving, combine the cabbage mixture with Ramen noodle mixture; toss lightly. Pour on dressing and toss again. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes 10 to 12 regular servings.
