5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1/2 c. shortening

3 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. (sweet) milk

Bake in a tube pan, greased and floured. Bake 1 1/2 hours in 325 degree oven. You can add 2 tablespoons cocoa or melted chocolate to plain cake.
