GOODBYE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
Softened butter
14 to 15 slices of bread
2 c. (1/2 lb.) shredded Cheddar cheese
3 c. diced cooked ham or sausage
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
6 eggs
3 c. milk
1/4 c. diced green pepper

Spread butter on both sides of bread slices, cut bread into small cubes. Combine bread cubes, cheese, ham or sausage, salt and pepper; stir well.

Beat eggs until foamy; stir in milk. Add egg mixture to ham (or sausage) mixture, stirring well. Pour into a lightly greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle green pepper on top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown. Yield 10 to 12 servings.
