MACAROON BARS 
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts

Pour 1/2 of dough in pan. Mix 1 box of macaroon mix with 3/4 cup water and spread over mixture. Then spread remaining dough on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 c. sm. marshmallows
1/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar

Cook in double boiler until marshmallows soften. Remove from stove, then add 1 cup chocolate chips. Stir until melted and add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.
