NEW YORK GOODWICH 
1 c. broccoli
1/2 c. cauliflower (optional)
2 tbsp. finely grated carrot
2 tbsp. grated cabbage
2 tbsp. yellow squash, grated
1/4 c. barbecue sauce and onions
Whole wheat pita
Dill pickle slivers
1/2 c. lettuce, shredded
1/2 c. alfalfa sprouts

Cut broccoli into thin lengths. Break cauliflower into tiny flowerets. Steam or stir fry veggies until slightly tender. (Do not over cook). Saute small to medium onion and add to barbecue sauce. Spread pita with mayonnaise. Add a line of pickle, add a line of veggies, add a line of barbecue sauce. Top with lettuce and alfalfa sprouts. This conglomeration sounds strange but is simply delicious.
