PASTA WITH BROCCOLI 
4 qts. water
2 tsp. salt
1 lb. pkg. pasta (any type)
1 lb. broccoli
1/4 c. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1/8 tsp. pepper
Parmesan or Romano cheese

Bring the 4 quarts water and salt to a boil in large saucepan. Gradually add pasta. Boil rapidly, uncovered about 12 minutes or until tender. Save 3 cups liquid and drain pasta in colander. Set aside.

Prepare broccoli and cook until just tender. Set aside.

Heat olive oil and garlic in large saucepan until garlic is lightly browned. Add drained broccoli and pasta with 3 cups liquid. Season with pepper. Simmer about 10 minutes. Top with Parmesan or Romano cheese. Serve immediately.
