GEORGIA PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 c. dark corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecan halves
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust
3 tbsp. melted butter

Combine eggs and cornstarch. Mix and add sugar. Stir in salt and vanilla. Let sit for 5 minutes. Spread pecans on bottom of pie shell. Stir melted into syrup, pour over pecans. Make sure all pecans rise to the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until center is firm.
