RUSSIAN TEA CAKES | |
1 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 c. flour 3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Combine butter, powdered sugar, salt and vanilla in a large bowl. 3. Blend on low speed about 1 minute. 4. Gradually add flour. 5. Stir in walnuts. 6. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. 7. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. 8. Bake 8-10 minutes or until firm but not brown. 9. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. 10. Cool; roll again in powdered sugar before serving. |
