RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. finely chopped walnuts
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and sugar together. Add flour and salt. Mix. Add vanilla and nuts. Shape into 1-inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool slightly and then roll in confectioners' sugar.
