BASIC CREAM PIE RECIPE 
1 can condensed milk (use can to measure with)
2 cans whole milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/4 can cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. vanilla

Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan and cook over medium heat until very thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. May add coconut at this time (add 4 tablespoons cocoa with first 4 items if making chocolate pies). To make pineapple pies, add large can of crushed pineapples and decrease milk by 1/2 cup.
