PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. water
2 c. pumpkin puree

Combine sugar and oil; then beat in eggs. Mix together the salt, flour, baking soda, and spices. Add this to the egg mixture, alternating with the water. Stir in the pumpkin puree. Pour into 2 large or 4 small greased loaf pans. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Cool in pans on rack and then remove from pans. Makes 2 large or 4 small loaves.
