MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. cocoa
1 pkg. marshmallows (med.)
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and beat. Sift flour, cocoa and salt. Add to mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into 9x13 inch pan and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and spread with marshmallows. Return to oven and melt about 10 minutes.
