BARBECUE CHICKEN ON STICKS 
12-16 thighs (debone, discard most fat and skin, then cut thighs in halves)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 shot dark rum
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 squeeze fresh lemon/lime
2 green onions, chopped
8-10 bamboo sticks

Can be purchased at Oriental Market.

Mix all ingredients in large container. Marinate in refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Skew and barbecue on low heat until done, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Check and turn as needed. Serve warm with rice and salad. Yield: 4 servings.
