2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
12 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips

Beat first 3 ingredients. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes only.
