OLD FASHIONED GINGER COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 whole egg
1 c. molasses
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. ginger
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour milk
Flour to make dough easy to handle

Cream shortening, sugar, and eggs. Mix in molasses. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Roll out and cut and bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
