ORANGE COCONUT CRISPS 
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. flaked or shredded coconut

Heat oven to 375.

Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in egg, orange peel and vanilla.

In another bowl stir together flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture. Blend thoroughly. Add coconut and mix until well combined. Cover dough tightly and chill about 2 hours.
