WHOLE WHEAT OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/3 c. polyunsaturated butter
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1 egg
2 tbsp. water
2/3 c. all purpose flour
1/3 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. uncooked quick oats
1/3 c. raisins, rinsed, drained
1/3 c. nuts, chopped

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly greased 2 cookie sheets. Put all ingredients, except raisins and nuts, into large bowl. Beat with electric mixer or wooden spoon until blended. Beat in raisins and nuts. Drop by heaping teaspoonsful 1 1/2 inches apart on cookie sheets.

Bake 18 to 20 minutes (or until edges are lightly browned.) Remove to rack to cool. (Makes approximately 30.) (76 calories per cookie.)
