CHINESE CHOP SUEY | |
2 lb. hamburger 2 tsp. dry mustard Salt and pepper 2 onions 2 green peppers 1/2 c. ketchup 1/2 c. strong cheese, diced 2 c. chopped celery 1 can bean sprouts 1 can mixed Chinese vegetables 1/4 c. soy sauce Flour Mix hamburger, dry mustard, salt, pepper, one onion, one green pepper, ketchup, and cheese together, and form into small balls. Fry. Cook the chopped celery, the other onion and pepper until soft. Drain bean sprouts and Chinese vegetables, and add to other vegetables, saving the liquor. Add hamburger balls. Add the drained vegetable liquor to soy sauce, making about one cup in all. Mix with flour to thicken, and add to mixture, mixing with a fork. Make in the morning and when ready to serve, put casserole in oven until warmed through. |
