BUTTER GLAZED CARROTS 
1 c. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 lb. carrots, peeled and cut in 1 inch slices

Place butter in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover and microwave for 1 minute on High. Add brown sugar, stir to dissolve. Add carrots, stirring to coat. Cover and microwave 7-10 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes until carrots are tender. Let stand covered 5 minutes before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
