PICKLED OKRA 
Fresh whole okra
5 tsp. dill seed
5 hot red pepper
5 hot green pepper
10 cloves garlic

LIQUID MIXTURE:

1 qt. vinegar
1 c. water
1/2 c. salt (not iodized)

Place 1/2 teaspoon dill seed in each of 5 pint jars. Pack okra lightly into jars and 1/2 teaspoon dill seed on top, then peppers and garlic. Combine vinegar and salt and water and bring to a boil. Fill jars with liquid and seal. Allow to stand 2 weeks before serving. Yield: 5 pint jars.
