TEX-MEX TURKEY CASSEROLE | |
1/2 lb. ground turkey 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, pressed 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/3 c. no salt corn chips, crushed 2 tbsp. shredded reduced calorie cheddar cheese Crumble turkey in a skillet. Add onion, garlic, green pepper and chili powder. Brown evenly 3 to 5 minutes. Spread mixture in a 3 cup casserole, top with corn chips. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and continue baking 5 minutes until cheese is melted. Makes 2 servings. Double ingredients for 4 servings. |
