SOUR CREAM OVEN DOUGHNUTS 
2 c. Bisquick baking mix
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix baking mix, 1/4 cup sugar, nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, the sour cream and egg until soft dough forms. Gently smooth dough into ball on floured cloth covered board. Knead 10 times. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured 2 1/2 inch doughnut cutter. Lift doughnuts carefully with spatula and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown 8-10 minutes.

Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Immediately brush entire doughnut with melted butter. Dip in sugar mixture, coating all sides, or if desired, spread with creamy glaze - serve warm.

CREAMY GLAZE:

Mix until smooth:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Stir in additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time if necessary until desired consistency.

Yield: 12-13 doughnuts.
