MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1 c. unpopped corn
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. salt

Pop the corn and place in a large grocery bag. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, butter and salt in microwaveable bowl and boil for 2 minutes. Stir every 1/2 minute. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour over popped corn in bag. Shake well. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on high; shake. Again 1 1/2 minutes on high; shake. Microwave 1/2 minute more, shake again. Microwave 1/2 minute more, shake again. Remove from microwave and shake well.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
