PEANUT BUTTER MACAROONS 
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
1 c. peanut butter (crunchy preferred)
2 c. plus corn flakes

Mix sugar, syrup and peanut butter. Heat, but do not boil. Remove from burner and immediately stir in corn flakes (do not crush). Drop on cookie sheet with teaspoon. Makes 2 dozen. A favorite with youngsters of all ages.
