FRESH BERRY PIE 
4 c. fresh berries (strawberries, etc.)
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (9") baked pie shell
Whipped cream for garnish

Mix one cup of berries with the cornstarch, sugar and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring gently until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in butter and lemon juice. Chill in refrigerator for 30 to 45 minutes. Fold in remainder of berries and pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerate for several hours or until set. Serve with whipped cream.
