EASY PIE | |
6 egg whites 1 c. sugar 1 1/4 c. walnuts or pecan Cream of tartar Cool Whip (optional) 1 c. Ritz crackers, crushed 1 sm. can crushed pineapple 1 graham cracker crust Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Whip egg whites and cream of tartar until meringue stiff. Add sugar, whip 2 minutes. Fold in nuts, crackers, drained pineapple. Pour into crust. Bake at 300 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or lightly brown. (Pie will rise and be firm.) Cool Whip is optional. Spread on when pie is cool. Pie is good with or without it. |
