1 c. butter, softened
2 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 c. cola
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows

Combine all ingredients, except cola and marshmallows in a large mixing bowl. Blend at low speed at least 1 minute. Add cola and mix well at medium speed. Stir in marshmallows by hand; mix well. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Ice while hot.

COCA COLA ICING:

1/2 c. butter, softened
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. cola
4 c. (1 box) confectioners' sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped

In small bowl, combine all ingredients, except pecans. Beat until smooth. Stir in pecans. Pour over cake.
