GRAPEFRUIT MERINGUE DESSERT 
1/2 grapefruit per person
1 scoop of ice cream or sherbet per person
1 egg white for every 2 halves of grapefruit

Be sure all utensils are clean and at ROOM TEMPERATURE. This applies to eggs as well - important! Prepare grapefruit. May be done the day before - keep chilled. (Sprinkle with sugar if desired). Place scoop of ice cream on 1/2 grapefruit. Add creme de menthe, coffee brandy, etc. Add meringue - right to the edges. Place under broiler - watch carefully.
