BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 lg. box vanilla wafers
1/2 c. sugar
1 stick melted butter
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. sugar
Bananas
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 lg. container Cool Whip

Crush vanilla wafers. Mix with 1/2 cup sugar and melted butter. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping. Press into 9 x 13 inch oblong pan and bake 5 minutes. Cool.

Mix cream cheese and 2 cups sugar and cream together. Spread on top of crust. Slice bananas on top of cream cheese mixture then add drained pineapple on top of bananas. Spread Cool Whip on top of pineapple. Mix chopped nuts with remaining crumbs and sprinkle on top of Cool Whip. Cover and place in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
