COCONUT MACAROONS 
pinch of salt
2 cups sugar
6 egg whites
2 cups nuts
2 cups corn flakes
2 cups coconut
2 tsp. vanilla

Add salt to egg whites. Beat until stiff, then add sugar. Fold in nuts, corn flakes, coconut and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonful onto brown paper on cookie sheet two inches apart. Bake at 250°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Keep on paper until cool and they will hold shape and remove easily.
