ROCKY ROAD FUDGE BARS | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 3/4 c. nuts 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 1 sq. unsweetened chocolate Melt butter and chocolate. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread in a 9x13 inch greased pan. Spread filling over this. FILLING: 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (reserve 2 oz. for frosting) 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 6 oz. chocolate chips 1/4 c. soft butter 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix everything but nuts and chips with electric mixer. Fold in nuts and spread over first layer. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake 25 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with marshmallows and bake 2 minutes longer. FROSTING: 1 c. miniature marshmallows 1/4 c. butter 1 sq. unsweetened chocolate 3 c. powdered sugar 2 oz. cream cheese 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. milk Melt butter, chocolate, 2 ounce cream cheese and milk. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour over dessert. Refrigerate. |
