DROP DUMPLINGS 
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/16 tsp. pepper (pinch)
A pinch of nutmeg grating

Break the whites of the eggs into a cup and add enough milk to fill cup. Mix with butter and flour in a spider and stir as it boils until it leave the spider clean. When cool stir in the yolks well and season to taste. Drop from teaspoon into boiling soup 5 minutes before serving.
