BAKLAVA 
FILLING:

1 lb. filo
1/2 lb. nuts
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon

BOTTOM:

1 1/2 sticks butter with oil, melted & used for filo
8 sheets filo

LAYER: 5 sheets filo, filling, 5 sheets filo, filling, put 8 sheets filo on top, brushing each filo with butter.

SYRUP:

2 1/2 c. water
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. honey
1 lemon slice, squeezed

Boil syrup ingredients until thickened. Pour over cooled baklava. Bake at 350°F until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes (at least).
