FRUIT COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 slices green pineapple
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1 1/2 lb. dates
1 c. hazel nuts
1 c. pecans
1 c. walnuts

Cut fruit and coarsely chop nuts. Mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 200 small cookies.
