HOT ROLLS (Easy - Way) | |
2 c. warm water 1 egg 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. oil 1 tsp. salt 2 pkg. dry yeast Flour (about 6 c.) Mix 2 cups water with yeast; add sugar, oil and salt; then 2 cups flour. Should be thick enough to form ball in the bowl, that can be turned out onto a floured board. Knead enough flour into dough to make about 6 cups or until dough is of good consistency. Put 4 tablespoons oil into second bowl, turn dough over in oil. Let set until it rises to top of bowl. Punch down in center of dough, oil again. Let rise again. Dough should be covered with a cloth while rising. Pinch off balls of dough, turn over in oil, put in pie pan. Let rise again. Bake in 400 degree oven about 12 minutes. |
