CARAMEL POPCORN 
4 qt. freshly popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix sugar, butter, syrup and salt in a saucepan and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Take off stove and add soda. Stir well until very foamy. Pour over popcorn and stir to coat well. Pour mixture onto a shallow pan and bake in a 200 degree oven for 1 hour. Stir 2 or 3 times during baking. Pour onto waxed paper and allow to cool. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
