DATE & NUT PUDDING 
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates

Sift dry ingredients. Add nuts and dates. Add wet ingredients which have been mixed together. Pour in greased baking dish and place in pan of hot water (1") to bake. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, warm or cold.
