Whole dates, pitted. Wrap bacon around each date. Use 1/2 to 1/3 piece of bacon, place on cookie sheet. Bake in slow oven at 300 degrees, place them on foil. Cover loosely with foil and bake around 1 hour 20 minutes. Take off foil and turn up oven if not browned enough, needs to be dark in color.
